This is my 28th year at Hampton Public School. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a first grade teacher, junior high math teacher and for the past fifteen years, the Superintendent and Director of Assessment. My husband, Mike, is an Elementary Principal for Grand Island Northwest school district. We have two boys – Jayden who is a junior at the University of Kansas and Jameson who is a senior in high school. I enjoy staying active through jogging and playing golf.
This is my 22nd year in education and my 7th year at Hampton Public School. I am currently serving as the Elementary Principal and Special Education Director for HPS. Before joining the HAWK family I taught Special Education and Kindergarten in Lincoln, Grand Island and Aurora. My husband Matt is a Landscape Contractor and an alum of Hampton High. We have three children: Jaylen is a freshman at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Abbey (11th grade) and Eli (8th grade) attend HPS. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling.
Welcome to Hampton Public School, where it’s Always a Great Day to Be A Hawk!! My wife, Ashley, and I are excited to be a part of HawkNation where I will serve the district as the 7-12 Principal and Activities Director. I have had the pleasure of teaching and serving in Spalding Public Schools, Riverside Public Schools, Aurora Public Schools and most recently Westridge Middle School in Grand Island. I have also student taught in Alief Independent School District in Houston, TX. Science and math have been my subjects of choice as an educator and have enjoyed building relationships and motivating students to learn these subjects through a variety of teaching methods.
My wife Ashley is a 4th grade teacher at Howard Elementary in Grand Island Public Schools. She will be starting her 6th year as an educator and has enjoyed building relationships with students and watching them reach their full potential in the classroom. We have many hobbies that we like to do in our spare time. We love going to the lake and boating in the summer as well as spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. We also love the mountains year round! Hiking, snow skiing and campfires are some of our favorite mountain pastimes.
As a leader in Hampton Public Schools, I am passionate about student achievement through educator growth. I believe in positive two way communication and working together as a school and community to provide the best possible experience for our students. I look forward to meeting families and building relationships with the community of Hampton and making a positive impact in our district. Truly proud to be a part of HawkNation!
This is my 22nd year at Hampton and my 30th year as a teacher. I currently teach all Social Studies classes 7-12. These include Civics, 8th American History, Geography, World History, American History, and American Government. My wife, Julie, is a kindergarten teacher at York Elementary School. My children are Jalen, a senior at UNL, Kaiya a sophomore at UNL, and Jaxson will be a sophomore at York High School.
This is my 28th year teaching at Hampton Public Schools. I am currently teaching Title 1 Intervention, 5-6th ELA, 7-8th Reading, Literature and Freshman English. I am also co-coach for the Speech team. My husband, Curt, is self-employed and we have 2 grown daughters who graduated from Hampton. Caitlin and her husband, Garrett live in Dorchester and are the parents of our adorable grandchildren, Lydia,Levi, and Laklyn! Hannah and her husband, Danny live in Omaha, and are expecting their first baby in early September. I enjoy gardening and reading.
This is my 8th year teaching 6th Grade in Hampton and my 14th year overall in Education. In addition to 6th Grade, I also teach 4th and 5th Grade Science. My husband, Phil, farms and we live in the country with our 2 Labradoodles, Reuben and Aggie. We are currently in the process of adopting a newborn baby and I am so excited to grow our family! In addition to teaching, I am the co-owner of Cottonwood Gallery & Arts, a local art gallery in Aurora. In my free time, I love to paint, play with my dogs, and travel.
This is my 3rd year in education and also my 3rd year at Hampton. I teach first grade and enjoy every minute of it! I also coach Junior High girls basketball and track. I married a Hampton Alumni, Alex Dose, who works on the family farm. In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.
This is my 32nd year of teaching at Hampton Public School. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade as well as Junior High Careers, High School Careers, and Adult Living. I currently serve as the K-12 School Counselor. I have also been the Cheerleading Coach for the past 16 years. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with family. My husband Randy and I have three grown sons. One of which teachers Math here at Hampton. This year we welcomed our 2nd grandson, Miles. Miles and Henry keep us busy as grandparents. I love to travel the states, garden, quilt, and tackle Pinterest projects.
This is my 8th year as a math teacher at Hampton Public School. I currently teach 7th grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Consumer Math and College Algebra. Along with teaching, I also coach JH Football and Boys Varsity Basketball. In my free time I enjoy golfing, hunting, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
This is my 23rd year in education and my 20th year at Hampton. My husband, John, is a software developer and project manager at Software 4 Retail Solutions in Aurora. We have two grown children, Caleb and Dante, as well as our three at home: Kellen (senior), Hayden (freshman), and Jillian (sixth grade). I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the piano, reading, and keeping up with our children’s ventures.
This is my seventh year at Hampton Public Schools. I am the Librarian and Spanish teacher for all grade levels so I get to see students throughout their entire school career. My husband Oscar is also a Spanish teacher, he works at Senior High in Grand Island. We have two little boys who keep us on our toes, Tiago and Matías. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and working on Pinterest projects.
This is my seventh year of teaching at Hampton Public School. I am the high school Language Arts educator. Additionally, I co-coach the Speech team and am a sponsor for the Journalism staff and Student Council. My husband, Cole, and I live on a farm. Cole works for a local farmer as well as raises cow/calves with his father. We have two daughters: Cassidy, a first grader; and Bailey, a preschooler. In my free time I enjoy baking/cooking in the kitchen, reading a good book, knitting blankets and hats, spending time in the garden, and playing outside with my kids.
This is my 8th year of teaching at Hampton Public School. I teach K-12 Art Education and Family Consumer Science 7 and I coach track. My husband, Austin, and I live in Aurora with our two cats, Belle Kitty and Lily Kitty. I enjoy spending time with my family, being creative (knitting, photography, art stuff), and spending time outside (gardening, camping, riding horses, and especially visiting the mountains).
This is my 23rd year as a special education teacher at Hampton Public School. I live north of Hampton with my husband, Jerl. We have three boys, Amos, Eric and Tyler, and six grandchildren, Kaylei, Bryce, Kiersten, Kynleigh, Paisley, and Emma. Along with teaching, my husband and I farm north of Hampton. I enjoy spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and relaxing at our cabin.
I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 19 years and this is my second year at ESU 9 and happily at Hampton. Previous to working at Hampton I worked in the medical field as a Pediatric SLP. My husband Scott and I are originally from upstate New York and have been living in Grand Island Nebraska for 9 years. My husband works as a driver for Shred It, a document destruction company. My husband and I have four “fur-babies”- 2 Yorkies (Tucker and Mortimer) and 2 cats (Checkers and Doc). In my spare time I love to read a good book, travel/explore, go camping, and attend concerts.
This is my seventh year in education and my second at Hampton. I am the director of career pathways and also teach several classes that involve career exploration,entrepreneurship, and digital leadership. I have an amazing wife who teaches third grade at Hampton and we have three kids, Cooper who is three, Carter who is two, and a baby girl due in September on Cooper’s 4th birthday.
This is my 5th year in education and my 2nd at Hampton Public School. I am currently teaching 3rd grade. My husband, Carson, and I are thrilled to be teaching at the same school! He works in the high school with career explorations. We have two sons and are expecting a daughter this fall. Cooper is in preschool and Carter is 2. I spend my free time chasing my kids and playing outside.
This is my 28th year at Hampton as a 4th grade teacher at Hampton Public School. Previously I taught 6th grade for a half year in Paige, NE. Along with teaching, I am also the assistant volleyball coach and head girls basketball coach for the Lady Hawks. When I am not teaching or coaching I love spoiling my 2 cats (Neleigh, and Reignee) and spending as much time outside as I can.
This is my 18th year in education and my 15th year here at Hampton. My current position is Ag Teacher and FFA advisor at Hampton Public Schools. Courses that I’ve taught to 7-12 grade students include, Intro to Ag, Plant Science, Animal Science, Animal Management Lab, Ag Leadership, Ag Business, JH Ag Literacy, HS Woods & Metals and JH Woods & Metals. My wife Stephanie, is the Ag teacher at Heartland Community School. Our two kids, Macy (8th grade) and Noah (5th grade) keep our family very active with all of their activities.
This is my 12th year of teaching 2nd Grade in Hampton. My favorite part of teaching is that “Aha” moment and the hilarious things 7 and 8 year olds say. Prior to Hampton, I taught in Western Nebraska, Boulder, Colorado, and Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband James works from home for Nebraska Total Care. We have four children, Ashli, Griffin, Morgan, & Landon. We also have an amazing son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Talisha. Our current favorite role is playing Poppy and Nonnie to our two grandsons. Roman is 17 months and Kaius just turned 1 month. They bring us such joy! In my free time, I love to read, work on house projects, camp, and spoil those grandbabies:)
This is my 21st year at Hampton and my 31st year overall. Before coming to Hampton, I taught in South Texas and Sutton, NE. My wife and I have 4 children and we reside in York. Our oldest daughter, Rayvn is 21 years old and lives in Kearney. Our second child, Ketch is 19 years old and is currently at UNK studying Political Science and Religion. Our third child, Branic is 16 years old and is currently a sophomore at York High School. Our youngest child, Pitch is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade at Emmanuel-Faith School in York. We enjoy traveling as a family and playing badminton, tennis, and board games.
This is my fifteenth year at HPS and twentieth year in education. I teach eighth grade math, geometry, and digital media. I am also the director of the one-act play and co-sponsor of student council. I have a beautiful wife who is the director of the Merrick County History Museum. I have two children, Willa and Simon. Willa is a junior and Simon is a sixth grader. I love technology, reading, and music.
This is my 10th year in education and my 7th year at Hampton Public School. I currently teach 5th grade math and reading and K-6 special education. I am also the head track coach. My husband, Peter, works for Farm Credit Services of America in Grand Island. We have two children, Stella is a 3rd grader and Ethan is a Kindergarten. I enjoy playing golf, riding bikes with my kids and being outdoors.
This is my 26th year in education and my 19th year at Hampton Public School. I currently teach kindergarten and am also the School Improvement Director and Curriculum Coordinator. I have also taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. My husband Ken and I own our own business, BioGreen. Our three children are Lexie, Tyson, and Brayden. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and reading.
This is my sixth year teaching and sixth year teaching at Hampton. I currently teach preschool and preschool special education. My preschool classes consist of a morning 3-4 year old group, an afternoon 4-5 year old group, and a Friday morning 2-3 year old group. I also coach Junior High volleyball at Hampton during the fall. In my free time I love to go back to my parent’s farm in Sutton where I get to spend time with my family. I also enjoy hunting, golfing, reading, anything Huskers, and spending time with my friends.
I have been a Nurse for 17 years and 13 of those years I have been in School Nursing. In 2010 I began as the school nurse at Hampton Public Schools. My family consists of my husband Scott of 24 years (employed by Merrick Medical Center), our oldest daughter and son-in-law Kaylee & Calvin Frey (both in education) live in Wolbach with our two amazing Grandsons – Alaric (1st grade) and Jensen (Toddler). Brady, our son is beginning his second year at Concordia University in Seward and our daughter Shayna (16) is a sophomore attending Hampton HS. I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening, being outdoors and I especially love being a Grandma!
This is my 6th year as a para at Hampton. I have worked in classrooms from preschool to 12th grade. I was a nursing/science major in college which helps a lot when I assist students in various science courses. My husband, Mel, works at Freightliner in York as a service advisor. Our children are Miranda, 31, a 4th grade teacher in Fremont, NE, Marcus, 27, who works in plumbing in the finishing department at Bonnavilla, Mason, 22, who works at the Fremont Credit Bureau in the bookkeeping/accounting department in accounts payable and receivable, and Maya, 17, a senior here at Hampton. I enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling.
This is my 7th year as the Manager of food service at HPS. I have worked in food service since I was 16 years old.
My husband Tom is a Supervisor for Chief Buildings in Grand Island. We have 3 children, Lisa Allen, Dee Riggs and Katie McNish and two in-laws AJ Allen and Sheila Riggs. Three awesome grandsons, Camden, Hayden, and Jaren Riggs.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crocheting, and especially spending time with my Grandsons!
This is my 4th school year assisting in the kitchen at HPS and my 6th year managing the Hampton Schools Facebook page Hawk Nation.
My Husband Travis is a Civil Engineering Technician for the Natural Resource and Conservation Service in Grand Island.
We have lived in the Hampton area for 16 years. We have 3 children: Ian who is attending the University of Louisville in Kentucky, Kale a 6th grader and Trinity a 4th grader.
In my spare time I have a small photography endeavor called M&M Memories. I also enjoy animals, sports, shopping and reading.
This is my 2nd year at Hampton working as a Para. Prior to this I worked in the Grand Island district in the Education Life Skills Program for 6 years. I have lived in Hampton for 5 years, along with my two children: Bentley who is in 4th grade and Kynzler who is in Preschool. In my free time, I love crafting, reading, camping, and spending time with my family. I am blessed to be a part of the Hawk family!
This is my 4th year at Hampton as a para. I have lived in Hampton for 5 years, but grew up on a farm just outside of Aurora. My husband, Jared, works for Nebraska Public Power as a local manager in Aurora. We have 3 boys, who also attend HPS. Kyler is a 5th grader, Landen is in 4th and Grayson is in 2nd. We spend a lot of time camping and also enjoy traveling!
This is my 2nd year as Office Manager at Hampton Public School. I spent the prior 10 years teaching preschool. My husband Corey and I grew up in Sutton, but have loved being Hampton residents 11 years, recently moving Corey is the Service Manager at NMC in Doniphan. We have 3 children – Skyler in 8th grade, Rylee in 6th grade, and Brynleigh in 2nd grade all here at Hampton. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially going camping!
