This is my 26th year at Hampton Public School. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a first grade teacher, junior high math teacher and for the past fourteen years, the Superintendent and Director of Assessment. My husband, Mike, is an Elementary Principal for Grand Island Northwest school district. We have two boys – Jayden who is a sophomore at the University of Kansas and Jameson who is a junior in high school. I enjoy staying active through jogging and playing golf.
This is my 20th year in Education and my 6th year at Hampton Public School. Prior to arriving at Hampton, I served as a 4th grade teacher, 9th grade Physical Science teacher and Middle School Industrial Technology teacher. My wife Rebecca and I have four children. Noah, Isaac, Emilia and Madeline. I enjoy the outdoors and riding horses.
This is my 22nd year in education and my 7th year at Hampton Public School. I am currently serving as the Elementary Principal and Special Education Director for HPS. Before joining the HAWK family I taught Special Education and Kindergarten in Lincoln, Grand Island and Aurora. My husband Matt is a Landscape Contractor and an alum of Hampton High. We have three children: Jaylen is a freshman at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Abbey (11th grade) and Eli (8th grade) attend HPS. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling.
This is my 21st year at Hampton and my 29th year as a teacher. I currently teach all Social Studies classes 7-12. These include Civics, 8th American History, Geography, World History, American History, and American Government. My wife, Julie, is a kindergarten teacher at York Elementary School. My children are Jalen, a junior at UNL, Kaiya a freshman at UNL, and Jaxson who is beginning his high school career at York High School.
This is my 27th year teaching at Hampton Public Schools. I am currently teaching Title 1 Intervention, Creative Writing, 5-6th ELA, and 7-8th Reading. I am also co-coach for the Speech team. My husband, Curt, is self-employed and we have 2 grown daughters who graduated from Hampton. Caitlin and her husband, Garrett live in Dorchester and are the parents of our adorable grandchildren, Lydia and Levi! Hannah and her husband, Danny live in Omaha. I enjoy gardening and reading.
This is my 7th year teaching 6th Grade in Hampton and my 13th year overall in Education. In addition to 6th Grade, I also teach 4th and 5th Grade Science. My husband, Phil, farms and we live in the country with our 2 Labradoodles, Reuben and Aggie. In my free time, I love to paint, play with my dogs, and travel.
This is my 3rd year in education and also my 3rd year at Hampton. I teach first grade and enjoy every minute of it! I also coach Junior High girls basketball and track. I married a Hampton Alumni, Alex Dose, who works on the family farm. In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.
This will be my 31st year of teaching at Hampton Public School. Before coming to Hampton, I taught second grade at Aurora Elementary for four years. At Hampton, I taught 2nd and 3rd grades before completing my School Counseling degree. I have served as School Counselor for the past ten years. Currently I teach Jr. High Careers and Study Skills, High School Careers, and Adult Living. I have also been the Cheerleading Coach for the past 15 years. In my free time I enjoy time with family. My husband Randy and I have three grown sons. One of which teachers Math here at Hampton. I enjoy time with family, especially my little grandson Henry. I love to travel the states, garden, quilt, and tackle Pinterest projects.
This is my 7th year as a math teacher at Hampton Public School. I teach 8th grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Consumer Math and College Algebra. I coach JH football and boys varsity basketball. In my free time I enjoy golfing, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
This is my 22nd year in education and my 19th year at Hampton. Prior to arriving in Hampton I taught at Meridian and Central City. My husband, John, is a software developer and project manager at Software 4 Retail Solutions in Aurora. We have two grown children, Caleb and Dante, as well as our three at home: Kellen, Hayden, and Jillian (all Hampton students). I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and keeping up with our dogs and cats.
This is my sixth year at Hampton Public Schools. I am the Librarian and Spanish teacher for all grade levels so I get to see students throughout their entire school career. My husband Oscar is also a Spanish teacher, he works at Senior High in Grand Island. We have two boys: Tiago is a toddler and Matías will turn one this winter. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and working on Pinterest projects.
This is my sixth year of teaching at Hampton Public School. I am the high school Language Arts educator. Additionally, I co-coach the Speech team and am a sponsor for the Journalism staff and Student Council. My husband, Cole, and I live on a farm. Cole works for a local farmer as well as raises cow/calves with his father. We have two daughters: Cassidy, a kindergartener; and Bailey, a toddler. In my free time I enjoy baking/cooking in the kitchen, reading a good book, knitting blankets and hats, spending time in the garden, and playing outside with my kids.
This is my 8th year of teaching at Hampton Public School. I teach K-12 Art Education and Family Consumer Science 7 and I coach track. My husband, Austin, and I live in Aurora with our two cats, Belle Kitty and Lily Kitty. I enjoy spending time with my family, being creative (knitting, photography, art stuff), and spending time outside (gardening, camping, riding horses, and especially visiting the mountains).
This is my 21st year as a special education teacher at Hampton Public School. I live north of Hampton with my husband, Jerl. We have three boys, Amos, Eric and Tyler, and six grandchildren, Kaylei, Bryce, Kiersten, Kynleigh, Paisley, and Emma. Along with teaching, my husband and I farm north of Hampton. I enjoy spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and relaxing at our cabin.
I have been a Speech Language Pathologist for 19 years with this being my first year in an educational setting and at Hampton. Previous to working at Hampton I worked at Children’s Rehab Center in Grand Island for 8 years. My husband Scott and I are originally from upstate New York and have been living in Grand Island Nebraska for 8 years. My husband works as a driver for Shred It, a document destruction company. My husband and I have four “fur-babies”- 2 Yorkies (Tucker and Mortimer) and 2 cats (Checkers and Doc). In my spare time I love to read a good book, travel/explore, go camping, and attend concerts.
This is my sixth year in education and my first at Hampton. I am the director of career pathways and also teach several classes that involve career exploration, technology, and digital leadership. I have an amazing wife who teaches third grade at Hampton and we have two boys, Cooper who is three and Carter who is one.
This is my 4th year in education and my 1st at Hampton Public School. I am currently teaching 3rd grade. My husband, Carson, and I are thrilled to be teaching at the same school! He works in the high school with career explorations. We have two sons. Cooper is 3 and Carter is 1. I spend my time chasing my boys and playing outside.
This is my 27th year at Hampton as a 4th grade teacher at Hampton Public School. Previously I taught 6th grade for a half year in Paige, NE. Along with teaching, I am also the assistant volleyball coach and head girls basketball coach for the Lady Hawks. When I am not teaching or coaching I love spoiling my 3 pets (Missy, Neleigh, and Reignee) and spending as much time outside as I can.
This is my 17th year in education and my 14th year here at Hampton. My current position is Ag Teacher and FFA advisor at Hampton Public Schools. Courses that I’ve taught to 7-12 grade students include, Intro to Ag, Plant Science, Animal Science, Animal Management Lab, Ag Leadership, Ag Business, JH Ag Literacy, Woods, and Metals. My wife Stephanie, is the Ag teacher at Heartland Community School. Our two kids, Macy (7th grade) and Noah (4th grade) keep our family very active with all of their activities.
This is my 11th year of teaching 2nd Grade in Hampton. My favorite part of teaching is that “Aha” moment and the hilarious things 7 year olds say. Prior to Hampton, I taught in Western Nebraska; Boulder, Colorado; and Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband James works from home for Nebraska Total Care. We have four children, Ashli, Griffin, Morgan, & Landon. We also have an amazing son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Sam and Talisha. But everyone’s new favorite is our 6 month old grandson, Roman. In my free time, I love to read, work on house projects, camp, and spoil that grandbaby:)
This is my 21st year at Hampton and my 31st year overall. Before coming to Hampton, I taught in South Texas and Sutton, NE. My wife and I have 4 children and we reside in York. Our oldest daughter, Rayvn is 21 years old and lives in Kearney. Our second child, Ketch is 19 years old and is currently at UNK studying Political Science and Religion. Our third child, Branic is 16 years old and is currently a sophomore at York High School. Our youngest child, Pitch is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade at Emmanuel-Faith School in York. We enjoy traveling as a family and playing badminton, tennis, and board games.
This is my fourteenth year at HPS and nineteenth year in education. I teach seventh grade math, geometry, and entrepreneurship. I am also the director of the one-act play and co-sponsor of student council. I have a beautiful wife who is the director of the Merrick County History Museum. I have two children, Willa and Simon. Willa is a sophomore and Simon is a fifth grader. I love technology, reading, and music.
This is my 9th year in education and my 6th year at Hampton Public School. I currently teach 5th grade math and reading and K-6 special education. I am also the assistant girls basketball coach. My husband, Peter, works for Farm Credit Services of America in Grand Island. We have two children, Stella is a 2nd grader and Ethan is a preschooler. I enjoy playing golf, riding bikes with my kids and being outdoors.
This is my 25th year in education and my 18th year at Hampton Public School. I currently teach kindergarten and am also the School Improvement Director and Curriculum Coordinator. I have also taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. My husband Ken and I own our own business, BioGreen. Our three children are Lexie, Tyson, and Brayden. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and reading.
This is my sixth year teaching and sixth year teaching at Hampton. I currently teach preschool and preschool special education. My preschool classes consist of a morning 3-4 year old group, an afternoon 4-5 year old group, and a Friday morning 2-3 year old group. I also coach Junior High volleyball at Hampton during the fall. In my free time I love to go back to my parent’s farm in Sutton were I get to spend time with my family. I also enjoy hunting, golfing, reading, anything Huskers, and spending time with my friends.
I have been a Nurse for 16 years and 12 of those years I have been in School Nursing. In 2010 I began as the school nurse at HPS. My family consists of Scott my husband of 23 years (works in Maintenance at Bryan Medical Center in Central City), our oldest daughter and son-in-law Kaylee & Calvin Frey who live in Wolbach and are the greatest parents to our two very amazing Grandsons – Alaric (5) and Jensen (5 ½ mos). Brady, our son (19) attends Concordia University in Seward and our daughter Shayna (15) is a freshman here at Hampton HS. I love spending time with my family, friends, cooking, gardening, being outdoors and I especially love being a Grandma!
This is my 6th year as a para at Hampton. I have worked in classrooms from preschool to 12th grade. I was a nursing/science major in college which helps a lot when I assist students in various science courses. My husband, Mel, works at Freightliner in York as a service advisor. Our children are Miranda, a 4th grade teacher in Fremont, NE, Marcus, who works installing tile in the finishing department at Bonnavilla, Mason, who works at the Fremont Credit Bureau in the bookkeeping department in accounts payable, and Maya, an 11th grader at Hampton.
This is my 6th year as the Manager of food service at Hampton. I have worked in food service since I was 16 years old. My husband Tom is a Supervisor for Chief Buildings in Grand Island. We have 3 children, Lisa Allen, Dee Riggs and Katie McNish and two in-laws AJ Allen and Sheila Riggs. Three awesome grandsons, Camden, Hayden, and Jaren Riggs. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crocheting, ande especially spending time with my Grandsons!
This is my 3rd school year assisting in the kitchen at HPS and my 5th year managing the Hampton Public Schools FaceBook page Hawk Nation. My Husband Travis is a Civil Engineering Technician for the Natural Resource and Conservation Service in Grand Island. We have lived in the Hampton area for 15 years, along with our 3 children: Ian who is a freshman at the University of Nebraska Kearney, Kale a 5th grader and Trinity a 3rd grader. In my spare time I enjoy photography and spending time with my family and pets.
This is 4th year at Hampton as a para. I have lived in Hampton for 5 years, but grew up on a farm just outside of Aurora. My husband, Jared, works for Nebraska Public Power as a local manager in Aurora. We have 3 boys, who also attend HPS. Kyler is a 5th grader, Landen is in 4th, and Grayson is in 2nd. We spend a lot of time camping and also enjoy traveling!
This is my first year as Office Manager at Hampton Public School. I have spent the past 10 years teaching preschool. My husband Corey and I grew up in Sutton, but have loved being Hampton residents for the past 11 years. Corey is the Service Manager at NMC in Doniphan. We have 3 children – Skyler in 7th grade, Rylee in 5th grade, and Brynleigh in 1st grade all here at Hampton. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially going camping!
This is my 3rd year at HPS working as a Para while continuing my schooling as an Early Childhood Education Major. Each day, I am presented with so many learning opportunities that are shaping me into the educator I hope to become! My husband, Zach, and I recently welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Emberleigh, into the world on August 19, 2019, and our hearts are so full! In my free time, I love going to junk markets, refurbishing furniture, crafting/decorating, working in the yard, and spending time with my family. I am blessed to be apart of the HPS family!
